As a follow-up to the Les Houches summer school on integrability in 2018, we decided to set up a student workshop on the topic. The idea is basically to get togather again and to stay in touch while having some scientific benefit.
Student Workshop on Intagrability 2019 in Louvain-la-Neuve gathered early career researchers representing 16 institutions from across 8 different countries. As the organisers, we thank all the participants for their contributions. Special thanks go to Prof. Jean-Sebastien Caux from the University of Amsterdam, who supported the initiative by giving an inspiring keynote talk overviewing the challenges of integrability.
We would also like to congratulate Louis Vignoli on receiving the Best Talk Award. The competition was strong, yet Louis impressed the organisers with the particular clarity with which he presented his research on Quantum Separation of Variables.
The workshop will take place at University of Louvain on April 08 to 10, 2019. There will be contributed talks, and we’ll make sure that there will be enough time for discussions between the talks. A preliminary schedule is going to be published shortly You find further information about the program here.
Note that this event is organized in a friendly way by friendly students: life in Louvain-la-Neuve will be at your own costs, but the event is free. We will however provide you with an official proof of participation (signed by a professor) so that you can be reimbursed when you go back home.
Registration is closed. It is still possible to register without a contribution. If you wish to do so, please email the organizers.
